Halloween Hoopla: Local Events

Fall is finally here(I wish the cooler weather would get here too!) and we have been looking for spooktacular local events to share with you! So without further ado here is a list of events happening around town that you, your families, and your friends might enjoy.

Hutto Parks & Rec have been working hard to out-spook themselves with another year of Halloween fun for everyone! They have put together another great event that will include candy, hayrides, a haunted trail, music, bounce houses, and MORE! They have even gone out of their way to create a sensory-friendly portion of the evening that is set to take place from 4 PM-4:30 PM. Costumes are not required, so feel free to dress comfortably and have a FABOOLOUS time! 

 

Play for Fall FUNdraising Event

Play for All Abilities Park

Round Rock has been busy working hand-in-hand with the Play for All Foundation on a very special spooky event to happen at the Play for All Abilities Park. This event has been created as a fundraiser to support the Play for All Foundation which was created to build, sustain and expand the Play for All Abilities Park in Round Rock. They will be transforming the park into a magical Halloween Funland featuring games, Trick or Treating(be sure to bring a bag or bucket), and MORE for all the Ghouls and Goblins to enjoy! 

The event is broken up into two sessions, session one(Which is sold out already!YAY!) from 6:30 PM- 8 PM and session 2(Get your Tickets HERE) from 8:30 PM- 10 PM. Tickets are $10 each and ALL proceeds go back to the Play for All Foundation. Tickets are required for entry(You will trade them for a wristband), and children aged 2 or under are free with a paid adult accompanying them. Get your tickets today for a FRIGHTFULLY FUN TIME! 

Hairy Man Halloween Trail of Fun

10/29/2022 5 PM- 7 PM (before dark) & 7 PM- 9 PM (after dark)

Come out and enjoy a Halloween Trail event put on by the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District. The trail will be fully decked out with ghostly fun decorations that everyone in the family will enjoy, including interactive displays along the trail, meet and greets with Hairy Man, Beetlejuice, Dracula, and MORE! Be on the lookout for the Sandworms, hop on the trackless train or visit the pumpkin patch for a photo-op in your costumes. You can also take part in navigating through a giant spiderweb, listen to DJ music, or even launch a pumpkin from the Trebuchet! There will also be a light twirlers performance during the after-dark time slot, as well as glow-in-the-dark giveaways, and pre-packaged candies. Kona Ice will be at the event as well(cash or card) and the CUB Scouts, pack 165 will be selling Carmel corn, kettle corn, and popcorn(cash only).

We also wanted to include some of the area's pumpkin patches that are perfect for a photo-op and memory-making with your kiddos.
